What’s been happening:

My name is Theresa Varga Kavouras. I am a 1988 graduate of Penn State, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Meteorology. After graduation, I played the television weather circuit, working at WTVT in Tampa, FL; CLTV in Oakbrook, IL; WBTV in Charlotte, NC and WTNH in New Haven, CT. I also had the opportunity to work with Dr. Mel Goldstein, illustrating several weather books. After 10 years of the weather biz, I married a radar systems entrepreneur and retired in Lakeville, MN where I now stay at home and raise my twin daughters. I manage a message board and also design for a digital scrapbooking company, ScrapGirls.com. You can find me on Facebook! I love the outdoors, and am an avid fisherman. I also love spending time with my husband and family. I am still Penn State Proud!
